I started working at Saint Ambrose in October 2003. I worked as an afternoon aide in every age group from infants to preschool. I continued to work here as I obtained my AA Degree from Inver Hills Community College in May of 2007. I left in August of that year to attend Minnesota State University, Mankato. I feel as though I never really left though, because I would return on school breaks to substitute or just to visit with the children & staff! I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in May 2010. I was lucky enough to return to Saint Ambrose ECEC as a teacher in August 2010!
I grew up in Cottage Grove and currently live in Oakdale. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. I also love spending time with my four godchildren, and my baby niece, all of whom I adore.
I thoroughly enjoy my time here at Saint Ambrose in the ECEC and I love being in the Monkey Room. I enjoy the experience of teaching toddlers something new and then watching them master that skill. It is the knowledge that, even though they may not remember me 20 years from now, I have made an impact on their lives and that I had the joy of being one of their first educators! I look forward to meeting all of our families and spending time with your children!
