I began working at Saint Ambrose in March 2013. I have worked in Early Childhood Education since 2002. I earned double Bachelor of Arts degrees from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2007. I enjoy traveling a lot and met my husband, Rob, while studying abroad in England. We have been married since 2010 and we had our first child, Edmund, in August 2017. He currently attends the ECEC. We live in White Bear Lake. I also enjoy reading, cooking, roller derby, house projects, and spending time with my family.
I enjoy working with young children because I get to see the wonderment of the world through their eyes. I see their “ah-ha” moments and the joy those bring. I help shape a child’s world view; and their place within it. I love to experience all of the silly, crazy, sad, happy, grumpy, goofy moments every single day! Although the unpredictability of the day can be challenging at times, it is also what makes teaching young children fun and fulfilling.
