I have been at Saint Ambrose since August 2005. I have a degree in Elementary Education and since college I have taught at two other centers as an infant teacher for 5 years and as a preschool teacher at a Head Start Program for 11 years. I enjoy teaching young children because I love watching them grow and learn at the very early stages of their lives. It is fun to watch all of the unique personalities and learning styles emerge at such a young age!

I have been happily married for over 30 years and we live in South St. Paul. We have a daughter, Aspen, who is a graduate of UMD. We also have a cat and dog who keep us happy and busy! We love being outside as much as we can…our favorite place to visit in the summer is Duluth. I have also taught swimming lessons for the past 36 years and previously coached swimming at 2 different high schools.
